We ended Teacher Appreciation Week with a trip to Italy for an amazing lunch from @threebrotherspizza 🍕Then back in the air with some great in-flight snacks brought around by our fantastic flight attendant! Our final destination was France for afternoon pastries!🥐 The teachers are so thankful for a week full of adventure!!!

Summer 2026 Drivers Education program registration is now open!
Students ages 15–18 with a valid Florida learner’s license can register for a two-week session at one of seven high school locations. The program cost is $300.
Spots are limited, and are first-come, first-served!

This week at Sickles, we’ve been celebrating teacher appreciation week! The theme this year is travel! On Monday, we departed out of the airport into the mail room for some Jersey Mike’s for lunch! On Tuesday we traveled to Mexico with a delicious taco bar lunch from culinary! Wednesday morning we flew into Hawaii for some refreshing tropical smoothies! Watch for our next stop as we travel around the world to honor and celebrate our teachers!

The HCPS RAISE High School Tutoring Program is now accepting applications for the summer! This initiative is designed to train, equip, and support juniors and seniors as they tutor kindergarten through 3rd-grade students in early literacy skills.
Participants will earn volunteer service hours and may qualify for the New Worlds Scholar award from the Florida Department of Education.
