Welcome to McKitrick Elementary. As the new Principal, I look forward to building upon our successes in the classroom and in life. Our amazing teachers, staff, families, and community work together to provide high quality instruction, enrichment, and structures that support all students on their educational journey. Programs and opportunities at McKitrick include; Morning Show, Safety Patrol, NEHS, mentoring, clubs, animal enrichment, STEM competitions, Economics Bowl, Math Bowl, Robotics, coding, monthly programming with the middle and high school students, chorus, Rock Band, strings, and participation in the Kids Heart Challange.

McKitrick strives to ensure an inclusive environment for students. Engagement with our student services team and community partners allows for voices to be heard and students to be supported. Relationship-building creates bonds with staff that students rely on during their time at McKitrick and beyond. When former students come back for their Senior Walk at McKitrick, those bonds are reinforced as former students and teachers reminisce about their experiences here.

At McKitrick Elementary, we are proud of our consistent A grade-but our greatest achievement is nurturing students who are kind, responsible, and actively engaged in the world around them.
