English for Speakers of Other Languages
The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is designed to provide academic, social, cultural, and support services to adult English Language Learners (ELL) who desire to improve their English language proficiency. Classes offered include: literacy skills to students who are not proficient in their native language, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening and academic English classes to teach academic skills necessary for students to enroll in post-secondary education.

GED
Adult students 18 years or older can prepare to take the GED test in order to earn a Florida High School Diploma. Students, ages 16 to 17, who want to take the GED test may attend our approved under-age GED program. The GED program is for students who do not have a high school diploma. The GED is an equivalency test that requires a student to pass four subject test areas: Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics to be awarded a high school diploma.

High School Credit
Our programs are open to anyone 16 years of age or older that have officially withdrawn from the K-12 program. A student that is currently enrolled in a Hillsborough County 9-12 program may attend, but appropriate documentation and approval from your 9-12 school counselor must be obtained prior to enrollment. Students must meet all state and local requirements for graduation including a 2.0 grade point average, earn 24 credits and attaining a passing score on the FSA/EOC scores.
