Welcome to Springhead Elementary, Home of the Pioneers!
At Springhead Elementary, we are proud to support the district vision of “Preparing Students for Life.” As one of the oldest schools in Hillsborough County, Springhead has a rich history dating back to 1876. This year, we are honored to celebrate 150 years of pioneering success, reflecting a tradition of excellence, resilience, and community pride.
Our mission is to empower students to own their learning, set and monitor goals, take pride in their environment, and persevere to achieve growth and success. Through high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, and a focus on student growth, we develop confident learners and future leaders. We look forward to partnering with families to ensure the best educational experience for every student while continuing our proud Pioneer legacy.

5th Grade Band
Springhead offers band as an afternoon club option to our 5th graders.
5th Grade Band
Fifth graders at Springhead Elementary can join band as an afternoon club option! They can choose to play either the clarinet or trumpet. The instruments are donated by Intruments of Change an organization that thrives to impact lives through the gift of music!
