Welcome to Maniscalco K-8, home of the Mustangs! Our amazing staff is dedicated to maintaining a school grade of an A. We have achieved our school’s vision to rank in the top ten percent of Hillsborough County Schools. Our daily mission is to provide a nurturing and safe learning environment to develop lifelong learners. I encourage you to register as a volunteer, serve on our School Advisory Committee, join our PTSA, and/or become a business partner. Welcome to our Mustang Family!

PTSA Mustang

Our Maniscalco K-8 PTSA is the heart of our school community! This dedicated group of parents, teachers, and staff works hard to support students through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and exciting events—like school dances, spirit nights, and so much more. Their creativity and commitment help make our campus a fun, welcoming place where every student can shine.

Tech

At Maniscalco K-8, we’re proud to support our students and teachers with the tools they need to thrive! Every learning space features a Newline Board to enhance instruction, a high-quality sound system to ensure clear audio and an engaging learning environment, and each student from Kindergarten through 8th grade has access to their own laptop to support learning every day.

School of Excellence

Maniscalco K-8 has been proudly recognized as a Florida School of Excellence by the State Board of Education. This prestigious designation is awarded to schools that consistently perform in the top 20% of their grade-level groupings across the state. Our commitment to academic achievement, student growth, and a positive learning environment has earned us this honor for multiple years. We’re proud to celebrate the hard work of our students, teachers, and families who make excellence a daily goal at Maniscalco!

Music Ensembles

At Maniscalco K-8, the performing arts take center stage! Our students have the opportunity to explore their talents through chorus, drums, bells, and musical theater. These programs encourage creativity, build confidence, and give students a chance to shine both on and off the stage. Whether they’re singing in harmony, keeping the beat, or performing in a full production, there’s something for every aspiring performer here!
NJHS & HEHS

Maniscalco K-8 is proud to recognize academic excellence and leadership through our National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS). These prestigious programs celebrate students who demonstrate strong character, scholarship, citizenship, and service. Members have opportunities to grow as leaders and give back to the community through meaningful projects and events that make a lasting impact.
FFA

Our Maniscalco K-8 FFA program is growing strong! Through hands-on learning and leadership opportunities, students explore agriculture, animal science, and environmental stewardship. From tending gardens to caring for animals, FFA helps students build responsibility, teamwork, and a love for the natural world. With the support of our school community, we’re excited to expand even further—if fundraising goes well, we hope to welcome goats to our program soon!
