PLTW

Project Lead the Way

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a hands-on STEM program that helps students explore science, technology, engineering, and math through fun, real-world projects. It builds problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence—helping kids become curious thinkers and future-ready leaders. By using the engineering and design process, students are able to create, innovate, and invent!

SDG's

Global Goals Projects

At T.H.E.M., students learn about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—like clean water, equality, and protecting the planet—and connect them to Leader in Me habits. Through classroom lessons and projects, Navigators learn to lead by solving real-world problems, working together, and making a positive impact in their community and beyond. Whether it’s a school-wide recycling project or a classroom campaign to raise awareness about hunger or quality education, students are developing academic skills and character while becoming global leaders.

Programs

Robotics Club

At Tampa Heights, we offer robotics for K-5 students. Our Robotics program gives students hands-on experience with coding, building, and problem-solving. They work in teams to design robots, explore how technology works, and tackle real-world challenges—building confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills along the way. Students use a variety of robots including Botley, Sphero, and Vex. Our students compete in the HCPS robotics competitions at MOSI.
