Principal's Message
My name is Bob Chisholm, and I serve as the proud principal of Coleman Middle School! 2025-2026 represents our 25th straight year of being an “A” school! This is our “Year of Responsibility” to “Do the Right Thing.” Each day, we use our COBRA Way to further an amazing academic and social culture on campus! Sustained success takes a continuous commitment from our faculty and staff, students, families, and community partners. We aim to deliver daily memories for each student to share with their families at home. GO COBRAS!

Coleman hosts the largest Best Buddies chapter among middle schools in Hillsborough County, fostering meaningful peer-to-peer friendships.
Programs
Advanced Scholar Quest Courses
These offer high school–level challenges to middle schoolers, including Advanced Math, Gaming & Simulation Computers, and Robotics, where students can earn high school credits.
Elective Options
Students can choose from electives such as Speech and Debate and participate in a top-ranked music program, which consistently earns straight “Superior” ratings.
