Congratulations to Scott Hazlett, the new principal of Leto High!
Scott began his career with HCPS in 2007 at Alonso High, where he taught psychology and American history and later served as AP. In 2018, he helped open an international school in Vietnam as principal before returning to HCPS in 2019 to serve as magnet lead at Leto. Since 2020, he has served as APC at Leto.

We’re proud to celebrate district-wide growth in academic achievement with the release of the 2024-2025 school grades! Not only did we see an overall increase in the number of A and B schools, but two schools even jumped two full letter grades, from a C to an A. These grades reflect the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and school communities across the district. Congratulations, HCPS Family! Let’s keep the momentum going!
