It's time to leave your own mark with a bookmark for our Hillsborough Reads Bookmark Contest! 🎨📖
We are inviting HCPS educators and students in all grades to design a colorful 2.5" x 7" bookmark that captures the theme "Get Caught Reading" for a chance to have their artwork professionally printed and shared across our schools.
Students can ask their school's media specialist for a copy of the bookmark contest guidelines and must submit their entries to their school's art teacher by EOD on Friday, Oct. 31. Winners will be announced in December!

Dads Take Your Child to School Day - Thursday, September 25 -
Why? Research shows that children perform better academically and socially when fathers or male role models are involved in their education.
What? Come and walk your child to school on Thursday from 9:05 - 9:30am. Sign the Dad's Pledge and take a selfie photo with your child in front of the school sign. Gates open at 9:05 and students enter campus on their own between 9:15 and 9:30. Give your child a hug and kiss prior to them entering campus for the day. Dads can depart once doors open and students start entering campus.
How? Park in the large swale along Bryan Road on the West side of our property and walk your child down the sidewalk along Brooker Road to the front entrance.
We look forward to seeing our dads, male role models, grandfathers, male guardians, etc. taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

This special celebration will feature academic awards, recognition of Vietnamese American History Essay winners, a traditional Asian national outfits showcase, a Lion Dance, and cultural performances from Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Korean, Filipino, and Bangladeshi groups. Families can also enjoy free lanterns, face painting, candy for children, and delicious Asian cuisine.
The Seniors’ Fair will provide valuable resources on estate planning, health and assisted living options, as well as free memory screenings and hearing tests.
This event is more than a festival — it is a community effort to uplift our youth, support our seniors, and strengthen bonds across generations and cultures!
