Burns Families - From the district:
We have been made aware that promotion status (Promoted/Retained) was inadvertently omitted from Quarter 4 report cards. HCPS Informational Technology team is currently working to correct the issue.
We anticipate that promotion status will be visible to families in the Parent Portal by Tuesday afternoon. We will provide an update if there are any changes to that timeline.

The Summer Learning Program letters went out at the end of last week. Remember SLP will be hosted by Mann Middle School this year. Transportation bus routes can be found in the attached document or with this link.
Burns Middle School Office Access will be limited to parking in the bus ramp (Bryan Rd) and walking through campus from the bus ramp doors to the front doors of the main office. Office hours are 7am - 2:30pm. Ring the doorbell of the front office. Call (813)744-8383 if you have questions.

Burns students were reminded yesterday not to bring their backpacks for the remainder of week.
Burns MS Update - Our cafeteria's gas is back on and our awesome Student Nutrition Staff is providing meals for all of our students. Our bell schedule has been modified, and we have combined a couple of lunch periods. Our PM exam will take place at the time originally scheduled.

8th Grade Dance Information
Students go home from school and must be in attendance at school to attend the dance.
Start time 6pm - Cafeteria - Drop- off in bus ramp
Snacks and drinks provided from 6-6:30 in cafe; dance in gym til 8.
