Dads bring your child to school and meet with our All Pro Dad Chapter.
It's the time we set aside for fathers or any male role models to connect with your kids. We will have meaningful conversations and fun activities. This month's topic is confidence:
People with confidence are certain about themselves—they know they can succeed at what they do, but they also know that when they don’t succeed, it doesn’t change their value. Having confidence frees us to be honest in every circumstance.

Las personas seguras de sí mismas tienen confianza en sí mismas; saben que pueden tener éxito en lo que hacen, pero también saben que si no lo logran, su valor no cambia. Tener confianza nos permite ser honestos en cualquier circunstancia.

We are looking for volunteers to speak to our students about making great career choices for the Great American Teach-In on Thursday, November 20th from 8am to 1pm. Could you please volunteer to come out and share your passion for what you do? If so, please sign-up by reaching out to Mrs. Leonard, School Counselor 813-987-6987 ext. 243 or amanda.leonard@hcps.net

You could share the vital role you play in your organization, read to our students about career choices or setting goals, or even bring equipment that you work with every day to help you do your job (like a police car / work truck, stethoscope, puppets, computers, etc. (please make sure the equipment is kid and school friendly)). No career field is too big or too small.
If you’re unable to volunteer, you can still help out by forwarding this message to others. We are looking forward to your reply, help and support!

Help our students "Get Caught Reading!" by creating a colorful and engaging bookmark that celebrates our district-wide literacy initiative.
Educators and students in all grade levels can design a 2.5" x 7" bookmark for a chance to have their artwork professionally printed and shared across schools!
