Tampa Palms Elementary School

September 25th is "Dads Take Your Child To School Day". This is a statewide initiative sponsored by the Florida Department of Education that encourages fathers, stepfathers, uncles, grandfathers, brothers, mentors, and father figures to actively engage in their child's education by accompanying them to school. The goal is to promote the positive impact of father involvement on student achievement and school success while also strengthening relationships between schools and families.

Here at Tampa Palms, we are encouraging our dads and father figures to not only bring your child to school, but to come early enough to enjoy a donut with your child in the media center before walking your child to class.

Donuts will be available in the media center from 7:10-7:30. Our students will need to walk to class by 7:40 am so please come early enough to spend time together in the media center. There is no parking available at the front of the school so please park at Compton Park and use the sidewalks to walk to the front of the school.
