"Start With Hello Week" is a national initiative that encourages students to create a culture of kindness and inclusion at school. The goal is to help kids notice when their classmates may be feeling left out and take small but powerful steps to make everyone feel welcome. Students can participate by greeting new friends, inviting others to join in games or activities, sitting with someone who is alone at lunch, or simply sharing a smile and kind words. Throughout the week, kids are reminded that even the smallest actions—like saying hello—can make a big difference in building a friendly, connected school community.
