Stewart Middle Magnet School families are invited to review the 2026–2027 Yellow Jacket Summer Newsletter, now available online. The newsletter provides important information to help students and families prepare for a successful start to the new school year.

This year’s theme is “Going Above and Beyond,” reflecting Stewart’s continued commitment to excellence in academics, student growth, STEM learning, and family partnership. As a NASA Explorer STEM School, Stewart Middle Magnet looks forward to welcoming students back to campus and beginning another year as the Launch Pad for Learning.

The first day of school is Monday, August 10, 2026. The newsletter includes key back-to-school information families need before the first day, including school supply lists, student hours, uniform and dress code expectations, morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures, HOST registration information, Canvas parent account reminders, and important school dates.

Families will also find details about Open House, including grade-level information meetings, schedule pick-up, uniform sales, and opportunities to connect with school staff. Additional sections include athletics information, immunization requirements, medication procedures, and contact information for school administrators and office personnel.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to read the full newsletter carefully and keep it available as a reference throughout the start of the school year.
