Emma Hoffman received the Florida State Fair Foundation Scholar award and the Champion of Champions award, placing 3rd in the state for Rabbits. The Champion of Champions is awarded based on student performance on written exams, showmanship and record book.

Our JROTC Robotics teams faced competitors from FL, GA, and AL in the 6th Brigade VEX Championships, earning 9 trophies including the top Excellence Award, Tournament Champions, and Robot Skills Champion. Next up: the World Championship with 800 HS teams! Go Warriors!

96 of our students in the Bright Futures Club participated in a service project at Feeding Tampa Bay and attended leadership workshops with different speakers from the Tampa Bay community and the Ryan Nece Foundation.

Last night our JROTC Cadets had a blast dancing the night away at our annual JROTC Military Ball held at Plantation Palms.

Our students love Deputy Bennett! This weekend is School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. Thank you to Deputy Bennett for making our school a safe and supportive environment for our students and staff.

Congratulations to the Legends Winter Color Guards on their performances at the East Lake HS FFCC Regional. The Blue team winter guard took 2nd place in their Scholastic AA Division. The Varsity "Gold" team took 1st place in the highly competitive Scholastic A Division.




Eight of our talented band students performed this past weekend at the Hillsborough County All County Bands and Orchestras at Bloomingdale High School. This is a top honor for the district and we are proud of their phenomenal performances.



Congratulations to Elena Bunn who was awarded third place in the Florida State Fair Art Competition for her artwork entitled, Mother’s Love.

Our National Honor Society placed 2nd Overall for Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties in the annual Rough Riders Teddy Bear Drive. Our school donated over 1400 teddy bears that will be given to hospital patients, cancer survivors, abused women and children, community health centers, special needs day care centers and foster children.
