The Steinbrenner High School Band, Orchestra, and Chorus have officially accepted an invitation to perform in the 2027 New Year’s Parade in Rome, Italy! 🇮🇹
Students will showcase their talents in parades and concerts throughout historic plazas in and around Rome. During the trip, they’ll also explore iconic sites such as the Colosseum, Pompeii, and Vatican City.

The boys Cross Country Team, "Boss Cross", won Districts, with 4 runners in the top 15. Lucan Martin won the overall and Jack Bronder finished third. Freshman Max Tschopp set a new GSHS HS XC record with a 16:29.5. We are very proud of these young men for their effort and commitment to one another. They will head to 4A Regionals next Saturday at North Port.
There will be no classes on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. 🇺🇸

Students from Freedom, Plant, Robinson, Steinbrenner, Jefferson, Alonso, Leto, and Middleton came together at Keiser University for CTE’s Innovation Day – West! 🙌
Working in mixed-school teams, students were challenged to design opportunities that make healthy living easier, more accessible, and more joyful for everyone in their communities. 💡💚
After pitching their innovative ideas to a panel of judges, the top three teams were awarded prizes for their creativity and problem-solving! ✨

Ishanvi Sabniveesu recently won the Florida Hispanic Heritage Month Essay contest. She was one of 2 high school students from the state chosen for the award. Winners receive a 2-year FL Prepaid scholarship. The award was presented at the Governor's mansion. Congratulations!

Halloween vibes + Friday night lights = the perfect way to close it out as the Plant Panthers and Steinbrenner Warriors battled it out on the field.
