It's time to leave your own mark with a bookmark for our Hillsborough Reads Bookmark Contest! 🎨📖
We are inviting HCPS educators and students in all grades to design a colorful 2.5" x 7" bookmark that captures the theme "Get Caught Reading" for a chance to have their artwork professionally printed and shared across our schools.
Students can ask their school's media specialist for a copy of the bookmark contest guidelines and must submit their entries to their school's art teacher by EOD on Friday, Oct. 31. Winners will be announced in December!
For more details or the official entry form, visit https://bit.ly/hillsreadsbookmark.

We’re thrilled to share that students have an opportunity to enroll in a trip to JAPAN planned for Summer 2026, and we’d love for your student to join us!
This is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills like independence and confidence. I’ll be sharing all the details, including what we’ll see and do, hands-on learning activities, academic opportunities, trip costs, and how to secure a spot at our informational meeting.
Meeting details:
📅 Date: September 24th
🕒 Time: 6:30 PM
📍 Location: Room 308
👉 RSVP here to join us: https://bit.ly/3VL835X
We’ll also open enrollment during the meeting—spots are limited, and I would love to help you secure this experience for your child.
In the meantime, please visit EF’s website to get answers to common parent questions. EF Tours is our trusted travel partner, and they have years of experience helping students explore the world safely and affordably. In the summer of 2025 at my previous site, I took students to London through EF and had a safe and unforgettable experience!
I hope to see you there and look forward to sharing how this trip can be a powerful and unforgettable chapter in your student’s life!
Best,
Paige Millirons
**Please note this is a non-school sponsored trip. **"

The contest will run through Friday, October 10. Posters must be submitted through your art teacher and sent via school mail to our K-12 Arts Supervisor, Laura Hobby.
