CALLING ALL STUDENT ARTISTS! 🖍️ It’s time to show off your creativity with our Every Day Matters Poster Contest. In partnership with United Way Suncoast, we’re challenging students to show why coming to school every day makes a difference. Use a powerful slogan, meaningful artwork, or both to share your unique perspective on what motivates you to show up.

The contest will run through Friday, October 10. Posters must be submitted through your art teacher and sent via school mail to our K-12 Arts Supervisor, Laura Hobby.

🚘 BEEP BEEP 🚘 The Hillsborough County Tax Collector's Office is hosting another Student Services and Licence Renewals Saturday on September 13! If you know a student ready to take their written or road skills test to get their driver's license, or a family member looking to renew their license, this is their chance.

Appointments are required. Families can call 813-635-5200 (option 5) to register and schedule an appointment for this event, which goes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please note: spots are limited and appointments cannot be made online.

Back to school means back on the move, and the Hillsborough Transit Authority is here to help!

Students ages 5–18 can ride HART buses for half the regular fare with a Youth Pass. To sign up, just stop by a HART Customer Service window, available Monday through Saturday.

We’re excited to welcome everyone back! To ensure a smooth and safe start and end to each day, please review our updated arrival and dismissal procedures.
✅ Clear signage will guide traffic flow
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Safety is our top priority—thank you for your cooperation!

Remember that if you have a child in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade they will come out for dismissal a little later than your K, 1, and 2 students so if you have a student in each grouping you may want to come a little later in the dismissal time.

Also, remember the car line will be longer to start the year, but will get quicker after a week or so-Please be patient.
