This is Mr. Phillips, principal of Lutz K-8 School.
We hope all our leopard students enjoyed the long weekend.
This is a reminder that this Friday, May 29th is the last day of school for the 2025-2026 school year. Students are dismissed at 11:40 A.M.
Our school will be closed as of the last day of school for summer construction. Staff will not have access to the campus. If you need assistance, please give the school a call at 813-949-1452 as the office staff will be at Maniscalco K-8 over the duration of the summer. All student materials will need to be sent home with students as if items are left behind, they are unable to be obtained until we return to school in August.
Due to summer construction and closure, Friday 5/29 students are encouraged to not bring backpacks and personal items to school. This will help to ensure that nothing is left behind as the school closes for the summer.
This week we continue end of the year testing with middle school semester exams.
There is a PTSA spirit night tomorrow evening at Culvers from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Our April and May den reveal den celebration is this Wednesday and students are encouraged to wear their den shirt to school.
This Thursday we celebrate our 8th grade students with a parent picnic, 8th grade clap out, and our annual 8th grade parent car parade. We wish much luck and success to our 8th grade students as the move into their high school journey.
This Friday is also our Lutz K-8 senior class of 2026 clap out. Students graduating from high school this year are invited back to Lutz K-8 to be celebrated at 8:30 A.M. in the cafeteria.
In preparation for next year, some school documents have been posted to our school website to include supply lists, cell phone and uniform policies, and a save the date for open house for next school year.
Once again this is Mr. Phillips, the principal at Lutz K-8 school and each day is a new day of learning for leopards!
We hope all leopard students and families have a relaxing and safe summer! We will see all students back on campus Monday, August 10th!
