Lincoln Elementary Magnet School

Literacy is Central to our daily lives. We are encouraging a culture of reading here at Lincoln. We have a diverse collection of titles in multiple genres and formats our Lincoln students and families can easily access. We have a beautiful new Media Center that provides students and staff with a warm and inviting environment to choose books, participate in literacy activities, or simply sit and read a while. Teachers are engaged in book clubs and with Beanstack, setting an amazing example for our students by showing them that we are READERS too. Students need regular independent reading time to practice and develop their reading skills. Won't you encourage your child to read each night at home?
