We’ve concluded our fundraiser and raised $10,600—an incredible achievement! We truly appreciate everyone who helped make this possible. We’re getting closer and closer to building the fence and outdoor eating area for our students.

The fence will cost approximately $17,000. It will help enclose our cafeteria and prevent unauthorized access to our campus, enhancing safety for everyone. If you know anyone who would like to donate to this cause, please send them our way. Thank you so much for everything you’re doing to help us reach this goal. A special thank you to Mrs. Dunlap and our counseling services team for organizing the fundraiser and doing all the legwork to make it a success. We couldn’t have done it without them!

We’re entering the fun part of the school year, and our students have been working incredibly hard. All grade levels recently completed the Quarterly Tests in Math, Reading, and Science, and we’re proud to report that our scores are above the district average across all grades and subjects—in some cases, significantly above. Thank you for everything you’re doing at home to support your child’s learning.

As we approach flu season, we’ve historically seen a dip in attendance. Please keep your child home if they’re sick, but if they’re just having a tough morning, help us ensure they make it to school. Every day builds on the last, and consistent attendance is key to their success. We’ve had a strong start to the year—let’s keep it going!

We recently wrapped up Conference Night, and it was wonderful to hear so many positive reports from students, parents, and teachers. Education is like a three-legged stool: parent, teacher, and student must all work together to ensure academic success. Our goal as parents is to help our children become even more successful than we are, continuing our family legacy.

We have many bright students at Claywell Elementary, and they’re destined to do amazing things in the world. Let’s continue to nurture and support them as they grow.
