Superintendent Ayres surprised Mrs. Lisa Keigher and Mr. Michael Zang, a true 3rd grade dream team at Chiles Elementary School, by naming them Hillsborough Treasures!

A fellow Chiles educator, and mom of a student in their class, nominated them after seeing an incredible transformation in her daughter, Caroline, in just TWO WEEKS:

“She is engaged. She is motivated. She is excited to learn.”

And as a teacher and a mom, she captured exactly what makes great educators so special: “There is nothing better than watching someone else see your child, believe in your child, and bring out the very best in them.”

Mrs. Keigher and Mr. Zang, thank you for being true gems—not only to your students, but to your school and your entire community.
