Congratulations to Linda Williams, Chamberlain's Ida S. Baker award recipient! This award embodies the pioneering spirit of Ida S. Baker (the first African-American to serve as Deputy Superintendent in the Florida Department Education who was known for her efforts to support underserved students and encourage academic success).

It was a beautiful night last night for some #HillsboroughNightLights! Dare we say we even felt a hint of fall weather?! 🫣😍
Check out these highlight shots from the Chamberlain vs Leto matchup!

Happy National Principals Month to all our amazing HCPS principals! Your commitment and leadership are key to our schools' success. You are much more than just a principal. Thank you for inspiring your teams, supporting staff, and always prioritizing our students' achievement. 🍎

It's time to leave your own mark with a bookmark for our Hillsborough Reads Bookmark Contest! 🎨📖
We are inviting HCPS educators and students in all grades to design a colorful 2.5" x 7" bookmark that captures the theme "Get Caught Reading" for a chance to have their artwork professionally printed and shared across our schools.
Students can ask their school's media specialist for a copy of the bookmark contest guidelines and must submit their entries to their school's art teacher by EOD on Friday, Oct. 31. Winners will be announced in December!
For more details or the official entry form, visit https://bit.ly/hillsreadsbookmark.

🎃🔬 We're celebrating STEMtober! Our students love exploring Science, Tech, Engineering, and Math through hands-on projects and experiments.

Last week, 3DE seniors at Chamberlain and Hillsborough High School joined students from across Tampa Bay at the Bill Poe Family Junior Achievement campus for a day of career exploration and professional growth.
Students connected with representatives from over 40 industries, learning about educational and career pathways available after graduation. They also participated in a hands-on LinkedIn workshop, gaining skills to showcase their 3DE experiences to future employers.
3DE by Junior Achievement blends academics with real-world business experiences, preparing students with the skills, confidence, and connections to pursue choice-filled, purpose-driven lives. Thanks to programs like 3DE, these seniors are among the most prepared high school students in the region.

Meet the new principal of Chamberlain High School, Jocelyn Maroon-Hart!
Jocelyn began her career in 2008 as a substitute teacher and parent liaison at Webb Middle. She went on to serve as an ESE teacher and specialist at Adams Middle and South County Career Center before becoming an ESE District Resource Teacher.
In 2021, she joined Jefferson High School as an AP for Student Affairs and, in 2022, became the AP for Curriculum, where she currently serves.
We’re excited to see her experience, passion, and leadership flourish with our Chamberlain Storm!

Congratulations to Chamberlain's Teacher of the Year: Kimberley Robinson! Ms. Robinson is not only a Math teacher, but also the Math Department Head, and the Student Government Sponsor. She has been teaching since 2002 and in her fourth year at Chamberlain High School.
