COZY UP AND GRAB A BOOK 📚❄️ Don't forget, the Superintendent’s Winter Break Reading Challenge is underway! Students in PreK–12 are encouraged to grab their favorite book during Winter Break and log every minute they spend reading.

Through Monday, January 5, students can record their reading in Beanstack (Visit hub.hcps.net and click on the Beanstack icon to get started).

Schools with the highest participation will earn a Reader Leader trophy and $500 for library books! Winners will be announced during Celebrate Literacy Week, January 26 through 30.

Join us this Friday, December 12, 2025 from 6pm-8:30pm! Our band will be performing their holiday music showcase alongside food trucks, an outdoor vendor market, and an outdoor theater. Come enjoy the magic of the holiday and see the hallways come to life with holiday lights and decor while shopping local small businesses to get those holiday gifts!

There will be no classes on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. 🇺🇸
Classes will resume on Wednesday, November 12.

Help our students "Get Caught Reading!" by creating a colorful and engaging bookmark that celebrates our district-wide literacy initiative.

Educators and students in all grade levels can design a 2.5" x 7" bookmark for a chance to have their artwork professionally printed and shared across schools!

Entries are due to your school’s art teacher by EOD next Friday, Oct. 31. Winners will be announced in December!
