It is time for our annual Multicultural Family Night! It is a wonderful opportunity for our Buckhorn Community to come together and get to know one another. We will have exhibits that reflect the culture and diversity of our school community. Attendees may also dress up to represent their culture in our Multicultural Fashion Show. This is a FREE school event with no RSVP required.
We are looking for families to sponsor a “culture table” for our multicultural presentations. Your culture table can be from your home culture or one you have experienced. Information could include language, history, customs, daily life, geography and anything you think would be interesting to share. The presentation should include a visual display such as a show board, poster or information pamphlets. In the past our families enjoyed food samples, games, crafts, and examples of items important to the life and traditions of your country or culture. Your presentation should be able to fit within a table space approximately 4 feet wide by 2 feet deep.
Participating families can begin to arrive at 5:00pm on the event date to prepare their display.
To register to host a culture table, display space, please either scan the QR code to sign up or complete and return the bottom portion of this form to your child’s teacher no later than Friday, December 19th.
