Welcome to Focus School Software's new online enrollment application for Hillsborough County Schools. Parents and guardians will utilize this new online enrollment application to register kindergarteners or any students who are new to Hillsborough County Schools for the 2026-2027 school year.

To complete the online application, parents will create a Parent Portal account and then have the option to apply for enrollment for a new child.

Follow the steps below to create a NEW Focus Parent Portal account.  

1. Access the Focus Parent Portal Registration: Click Here for the Focus Parent Portal

2. Select the option: "Create a Focus Parent Account"

3. Register using a valid name and email address. Your email and created password will be your login information.

4. Select "I would like to APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT for a new child.” You will be prompted to enter the student’s full name and birth date as it appears on the birth certificate.

5. Click “Submit.”

6. You will be taken to the first page of the application.

If you already have a Focus Parent Portal account, you will need to add your new student.

1. Access the Focus Parent Portal Registration: Click Here for the Focus Parent Portal

2. Select the option: "Add a Student to my Focus Parent Portal Account"

3. Login using your email and saved password.

4. Select "I would like to APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT for a new child.” You will be prompted to enter the student’s full name and birth date as it appears on the birth certificate.

5. Click “Submit.”

6. You will be taken to the first page of the application.

Follow the steps below to complete the online registration application in FOCUS.

Page 1: The directions on the page shows users how to move seamlessly through the pages for registration.

Page 2: Contains information for McKinney Vento registration

Page 3: The student information already entered will show on this page. You will be prompted to confirm the name and birth date matches birth verification documentation. You can adjust if needed or add a middle name and/or a suffix as needed.

Any fields highlighted in red are required and you cannot move through the application until all required fields have been completed.

Page 4: Enter the home address and any emergency contacts. The system will help you to match the address as it appears in the address catalog.

Page 5: The parent/guardian will be prompted to upload documentation for verification of age, residency, and immunizations.

Page 6: Previous Residence/School Information

Page 7: Additional information. As you move through the application, certain answers may prompt additional questions as needed.

Page 8: McKinney-Vento Eligibility Assessment

Page 9: Information for Medicaid consent

Page 10: The last page of the application reminds you that after submission, you will still need to visit the school in person to complete the enrollment process.

Bay Crest is closed for summer due to a construction project, but you can still reach our office staff by calling (813) 872-5382 or visiting Davis Elementary for more information. Davis Elementary is located at 10907 Memorial Highway.
