Every day matters - More than lessons are missed when absent!

Every day matters! We want your child in class each day, learning alongside their teachers, building meaningful relationships with classmates, and participating in the experiences that make our school community special.

The week of October 5–9 is a great opportunity to reinforce strong attendance habits and help ensure our students are making the most of every learning opportunity. This is also one of several weeks during the school year when the Florida Department of Education collects attendance data that helps determine school funding.

When students are in school, they are not only supporting their own academic success, but their attendance also helps our district receive essential funding for resources such as teacher salaries, classroom materials, student programs, and other school needs.

We encourage families to make school attendance a priority and help students arrive at school each day and on time. Consistent attendance is one of the most important ways you can support your child's success, both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for all you do to support our students, teachers, support employees, and our entire school community.

Every day matters. Every student counts!
