Becoming a Volunteer
We are excited to announce our new visitor and volunteer management platform, Raptor, which streamlines the volunteer application and sign-in process.
Ways to access the online application:
From the District website (https://www.hillsboroughschools.org) •Click on the “Departments” •Then click on the “Volunteering Services”. •Finally, click on the “Y.E.S.”icon on the right.
From a school website •Click on the “Volunteer Services” box on the homepage •Finally, click on the “Y.E.S.” icon on the right.
While on the HCPS Application introduction page, please take a moment to view the new video on how steps to completing the new application. Please allow at least two weeks for the process to be completed.
Volunteers are welcome to participate on campus as they enrich our learning environment. If you want to volunteer, be sure you have a completed online application to have access.
Kindergarten round-up is right around the corner, February 22-25. These are the documents you will need to bring with you: *Valid birth certificate *Social Security Card *(2)Proofs of residence: TECO bill, property taxes, mortgage/lease agreement, Driver’s License *Health reports: updated immunization records and Florida Physical
ELP (Extended Learning Program)
ELP will begin January 24-April 25, on Mondays from 1:00-3:15 PM. This is an enrichment program for students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in the areas of Reading, Math and Science. If your student qualifies they will be bringing home an enrollment letter for you to sign and return to school.
Report Cards Online
Beginning April 11, families can access report cards on the Report Cards and Test Scores website https://reportcards.sdhc.k12.fl.us: Students can access their own report cards by logging in with their user ID and password (the same user ID and password used for Canvas). If a student cannot access the report card for a parent/guardian, a PIN can be requested by selecting "Request a PIN" on the report cards website. A PIN can be sent to the email address or mobile phone number of a parent/guardian in the Student Information System. Families can call the Report Card Support Line at (813) 840-7388 for technical assistance.
