February 17, 2023, a non-student day, is Family Day at the Florida State Fair. Please see the Florida State Fair Youth Policy requirements below, as the protocol has changed from years past.
The Florida State Fair Authority will enforce the protocol to ensure the safety and security of those who plan to attend.
· Student tickets will not be distributed through schools.
· Students 17 years or younger will be eligible to receive free admission only on Friday, February 17, from 10 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the fairground’s admission gates when accompanied by a paid parent or guardian who is 21 years or older and possesses a valid state-issued ID (i.e. Driver’s License) for entry.
· To expedite entry, parents/guardians must show proof of valid ID and will be checked at security check point at all gates, prior to entry.
· IMPORTANT: After 6:00 p.m. each day of the fair (February 9 – 20), all youth, 17 years or younger, must pay full admission and be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian 21 years or older, with a valid ID for entry. Additionally, all admission gates will close at 9:00 p.m. sharp.
The Florida State Fair Authority in partnership with local law enforcement is making the safety of all students and families a top priority. This expanded youth policy will be enforced to ensure the safety of all fair patrons.
