Gifted Program

Dawson has a dynamic and engaging Gifted Program. Some of our students in the Gifted program represented Dawson at STEMPalooza. This is an annual event that showcases STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) through workshops, exhibits, and hands-on activities. The events are designed to inspire students to pursue STEM careers. On the first day, students participated in Crack the Code, Engineering Design Challenges, and Robotics Coding Activities and Mazes. Dawson brought home several Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. On the second day, students raced the solar cars that they designed and created. Out of 20 cars that registered to race, Alexander and Gavin won 1st Place overall with their car design. Bringing home the Gold for Dawson.
