Ron Smiley, Principal

Welcome to Collins PK-8, home of the Panthers! I am honored to serve as principal and excited to partner with our incredible students, families, faculty, staff, and community. At Collins, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every Panther can thrive. Our mission is to create and support compassionate, respectful, responsible learners who are prepared for life. We believe strong family and community partnerships are essential to our students’ achievement. I encourage you to get involved—whether by volunteering, joining our PTSA, or attending school events. Together, we can ensure every student reaches their full potential.

Our athletic teams are a huge source of pride for our school! Our girls' soccer team placed second in the district, and all our sports teams represent on the court, field or track!

Collins PK-8 boasts a wonderful band and chorus program

Our band and chorus programs hold several performances throughout the year! Our musicians always entertain us during concerts in the winter and spring.

Collins PK-8 Bike Safety Program

Collins PK-8 is a proud neighborhood school with a large number of our students biking or walking to and from school each day. We hold several bike safety events, as well as Walk to School Wednesdays to help promote safety and community.

So proud of our Panther Pazzazz musical group! This grup of young performers will often help older students at local high schools with their plays and musicals.
