In all virtual instruction programs, students learn in a digital space using a web-based curriculum with highly qualified teachers from Hillsborough County. Students have full access to their teachers for each subject, whom they can correspond with via email, phone, instant message, or virtual classroom.

We offer online courses to eligible students in a variety of ways:

Full Time
Hillsborough Virtual K-12 is a public-school option in which students learn in a structured, yet flexible environment served by highly qualified Hillsborough County teachers.  Learn more >>

Credit Recovery
Students may retake classes online where they made a poor grade. Class selection and registration is handled by the guidance counselor at the student’s physical school.  Learn more >>

Part Time/Co-enrolled
Students are enrolled in other schools (public or private) and take classes online—during or in addition to their school day.  Learn more >>
