    Choosing a career can be overwhelming. Hillsborough County Public Schools offers four technical colleges with over 35 Career Certificate Programs in Agribusiness, Hospitality, Human Services, Information Technology, Health Sciences, Transportation, Industrial Trades and Manufacturing Technologies.
     
    Begin with career planning by asking tough questions, identifying your strengths, exploring your interests, considering job types in the industry, and knowing where to gain the required skills.
     
    Lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation. Readiness is assessed through placement tests, with counseling and referrals provided as needed to better prepare students for successful participation.
