  • DURING TESTING...

Students are not permitted to have any electronic devices, including, but not limited to, cell phones, smartphones, and smartwatches, at any time during testing or during breaks (e.g. restroom), even if they are turned off or students do not use them.  If found, test will be invalidated.

If students leave campus before completing a test session (for lunch, an appointment, illness), they will not be allowed to return to that session.  If a student does not feel well on the day of testing, it may be best for student to wait and be tested on a make-up day.

From Mr. Basham, Rodgers MMS Principal -

Fourth Quarter has begun.  Students need to keep a few things in mind as we approach the end of the school year:

Testing - Testing begins, and these tests matter.  The scores from the tests are used to make decisions about the classes students will be placed in for next year, whether they are at Rodgers or going to another school.  Please put forth your BEST EFFORT.

ELP - ELP continues for students who need to improve their grade in a class.  It is important to focus and make sure students pass their ELP class.  Students who do not pass their classes in the Core Subjects will NOT be promoted to the next grade.  This is not a school decision, it is mandated by the State.  Students must show competency in core subjects and required courses to be promoted.

Please Remember - Students, school is a place we go to learn.  It can be easy to get distracted by the social aspects of being a member of such a large community of young people, but it is important to stay focused on learning.  You need to be in class and report on time to class.

    *****

Got Your Flu Shot Yet? - HCPS has teamed with the Florida Department of Health-Hillsborough to offer flu shots with NO out-of-pocket expenses for our students and families.  Pre-registered appointments ONLY.

Rodgers' Community Pantry - Rodgers has a food pantry to help our students and their families during these difficult times.   Would you like to contribute?  Click HERE for the complete Wish List.  Click HERE for Rodgers' Wish List on Amazon.

Expectations for Student Behavior - Expectations are the same, whether student is in class on-site or in class on eLearning.  Students should be on time, focused and engaged in the class discussion, and complete assignments as requested.  Students may not distrupt or hinder the learning of their classmates during on-site class or Elearning.
