Literacy Week Events!
Each day there are two ways students (and teachers) can participate- through clothing and/or special day event.Further explanations of the events:- Mon. Custom Bookmark Station- Homeroom teachers will distribute blank bookmarks to students who want to participate (we will have extras in the media center and cafeteria). Students can decorate them and Mrs. Daniels will laminate them if they are turned into the media center on Monday and return them to the students later this week (so their name and homeroom teacher need to be on it somewhere)
- Tues. Guess That Teacher- Check out the display on the glass of the cafeteria for students to guess and submit answers during lunches.
- Wed. Poem in Your Pocket- Students are encouraged to keep a poem in their pocket and read it to others.
- Thurs. Book Swap- Students can bring in their like-new to gently-used books to swap in the media center. Students should only be gone max 10 min from class.
- Fri. Dear Day- Drop Everything And Read! Teachers are encouraged to take time to have students reading for fun!
