Robotics
Robotics Club

Robotics 1st-5th grade

At Tampa Heights, we offer robotics for 1st-5th grade students. Our Robotics program gives students a hands-on experience with coding, building, and problem-solving. They synergize to design robots, explore how technology works, and tackle real-world challenges—building confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills along the way. Students use a variety of robots including Botley, Sphero, and Vex. Our students compete in the HCPS robotics competitions at MOSI.

Garden Club
Garden Club

Our sustainable garden

Our Tampa Heights Garden Club is for K-5 students in partnership with our PTA and the City of Tampa’s Green Team. Through this collaboration, students participate in hands-on gardening activities and engaging lessons focused on sustainability & environmental responsibility through the SDG's. The Green Team helps guide students in understanding how local actions—like growing food, composting, and conserving water—can contribute to a healthier planet. The Garden Club empowers our Navigators to become thoughtful stewards of the environment, both at school and in their communities.

Tap into your creative side

Our school offers enriching music programs such as chorus, drums, and rock band, giving students exciting opportunities to explore their talents and grow as performers. These programs are more than just musical experiences—they’re also designed to build leadership skills, teamwork, and confidence. Whether students are leading a group in a song, keeping rhythm in a drum circle, or collaborating in a rock band, they learn to synergize. Music becomes a powerful tool for self-expression and leadership development, helping students grow both artistically and personally.
