Shaw Elementary's Open House was a tremendous success, with a strong turnout from the community and enthusiastic interest in our ESOL and GED programs. Credit Classes

High School Credit Recovery

Our programs are open to anyone 16 years of age or older that has officially withdrawn from their K-12 school. A student that is currently enrolled in a Hillsborough County High School may attend with appropriate documentation and approval from their High School counselor. Students will work towards meeting all state and local requirements for graduation including a 2.0 grade point average, 18 credits and attaining a passing score on the reading and algebra benchmark exams and EOCs.
GED

In-Person GED

Adult students 16 years or older can prepare to take the GED test in order to earn a Florida High School Diploma. The GED program is for students who do not have a high school diploma. Courses include Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.
Online GED

Online GED

Adult students 16 years or older can prepare to take the GED test in order to earn a Florida High School Diploma. The GED program is for students who do not have a high school diploma. Courses include Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. If you are interested in our online GED program, please let a counselor know at the time of registration. This program is reserved to students who qualify after taking their placement test.

Los estudiantes adultos de 16 años o más pueden prepararse para presentar el examen de GED con el fin de obtener un diploma de escuela secundaria de Florida.
