Celebrating Our Former Dolphins!

One of our favorite traditions is inviting our former Dolphins back to the Beach as high school seniors. Each year more and more former students come back to walk the halls of their elementary school while our students cheer for them. It is wonderful to see so many graduates setting an example for our younger students.

Programs

NEHS & NJHS

NEHS & NJHS Serving Senior Citizens

NEHS & NJHS

Each year we induct students into the National Elementary and Junior Honor Societies to acknowledge high academic achievement and service. Our NEHS and NJHS chapters participate in service projects throughout the year. In the spring, our NEHS/NJHS students visited a local senior care facility. They spent the afternoon with a group of residents doing crafts, playing games, singing, and just chatting. It was a wonderful experience for all!
ABK8 Concert Band

ABK8 Band

We are thrilled to offer Band as an elective for our students in grades 6-7. Our Band Instructor Mr. George Russell has done an amazing job with our first year band students. Our middle school students loved learning new instruments and being part of the band. We are excited to see what our band students do this year!
ABK8 Chorus

ABK8 Chorus

Students in grades 2-7 have the opportunity to be part of our school's chorus. For elementary students in grades 2-6, chorus is an extra-curricular activity for students who love to sing. We are excited to add chorus to our list of electives for 7th graders this year. Our chorus directors Mrs. Russell and Ms. O'Shea are incredibly talented and provide our students with a strong musical foundation.
ABK8 Yearbook The Estuary

The Estuary: ABK8 Yearbook

For the first time ever, our students will be creating our school's yearbook under the supervision of our yearbook sponsor, Mrs. Marie Sherman. She served as the yearbook sponsor at Lennard High School for many years before coming to teach ELA at ABK8. She is excited to lead our first yearbook staff in creating this year's yearbook.
