Students will take the survey at surveys.panoramaed.com/hcps. A student’s access code is their HCPS student ID.
Parents and guardians have the right to opt students out of the survey. A letter with opt-out instructions is shared with families in the weeks before the survey opens.
What is the Panorama Survey?
At HCPS, we are committed to fostering Academic Excellence, a Supportive Organizational Culture, Exceptional Talent, and Fiscal and Operational Responsibility—the four key pillars of our Strategic Plan. This year marks the first time that all stakeholder surveys—students, families, teachers and staff—will be conducted through Panorama. This unified approach enhances our ability to gather meaningful insights and drive improvements that benefit our entire community.Who takes the Panorama Survey?
All stakeholder groups—students in grades 4 and up, families of students in all grades, teachers, non-instructional school staff, administrators, and district staff—take the Panorama Survey at the same time to ensure a comprehensive understanding of experiences across HCPS.Do students have to take the survey?
Parents and guardians have the right to opt students out of the survey. Students 18 or older can opt themselves out of the survey. A letter with opt-out instructions is shared with families in the weeks before each student survey opens. Please notify us if you would like your child to opt out of taking the surveys by sharing your name, your child’s name, and their ID number below and returning it to school by Friday, December 20th.What’s in the survey?
The Panorama Survey focuses on key areas that help HCPS better understand and improve the experiences of students, families, and staff. These areas include sense of belonging, school climate, student engagement, teacher-student relationships, family-school communication, and perceptions of learning environments. By gathering input in these areas, HCPS can strengthen school culture, enhance communication, and improve support systems across the district. Here are the final demo survey links for the 2025 school year.
