Transformation Network Fellows

Partnership with USF, UT, HCC, and St. Leo University to recruit college students to support Transformation Network schools by providing intervention and support for academics during the school day. More than 255 participants in last 3 years. HCPs has hired 15 Fellows as full-time teachers!
2nd Hope for Tampa Community Fair

This is a partnership with HCSO, Idlewild Baptist Church, Hillsborough County Homeless, Hillsborough Affordable Housing, and many more organizations to provide 300 families with resources including immunization, food distribution, family mental health, and employment.
Joy of Reading

Partnership with Bess the Book Bus initiated a Pop-Up Mobile Library with 8 Transformation Network schools to provide free books for home libraries for students 3-7 years old. This program provided 45 Pop-Up Book Fairs, distributed 16,000 new books, and equipped classrooms with 1,879 books.
Congressionally Funded Arts Education Grant

This partnership awarded the Transformation Network $1,986,353 to incorporate arts education to impact approximately 39,000 economically disadvantaged students.
Recent Accomplishments

- Nine schools have exited the Transformation Network since 2021.
- Transformation schools boast 78 community partnerships.
- There are 52 interns in HCPS Transformation Schools.
- The number of VPK classes in Transformation Schools has increased by six since 2021.
United Way

This partnership provides an additional para in the classroom who will deliver targeted Tier 2 interventions to 1st grade students.
Helios TELI Grant

The Transforming Early Literacy Initiative aims to improve early educator practices and to support the articulation of literacy skills between pre-k and kindergarten in a targeted group of Hillsborough County schools. TELI will create a seamless early literacy connection between pre-k & kindergarten.
