  • ParentVUE App logoHillsborough County Public Schools will transition to Synergy as the Student Information System (SIS) beginning with the 24-25 school year.

    Parents and guardians will continue to access Canvas for current class grades, assignments, and communication with teachers. Synergy’s ParentVUE application will provide additional student information like report cards, attendance, and graduation status.

    In short, Canvas is the day-to-day hub for instruction. Teachers can post assignments, quizzes, and class discussions while integrating curriculum resources and academic tools. Teachers may provide valuable assignment feedback that is viewable by both students and parents. Students and parents can also respond to feedback directly in Canvas. Canvas Parent accounts can be created 24 hours after activating the Synergy ParentVUE Account.

    Synergy is used by schools for enrollment, scheduling, attendance, transcripts, final grade reporting, and certain other student information. Parents will be able to view report cards, attendance, class schedules, course history, test history, and some student information as appropriate.
