Reading Challenges

  • Research shows that students who read just 20 minutes a day encounter 1.8 million words each year, greatly improving their vocabulary, comprehension, and overall academic achievement.
     
    To prevent learning loss during school breaks, we encourage students to participate in our challenges:

  • Summer Reading Challenges

    Students from Pre-K to Grade 12 are invited to join 1, 2, or all 3 of these challenges by reading as much as possible on myON this summer! Each student's myON account will automatically track their reading progress.
