I am honored to have the privilege to be a part of the Sumner High School Family. I have a true passion and responsibility as an educator to inspire, motivate and empower our youth to be successful within our society and our community.
I have twelve years of experience as an Educator and started my career at Freedom High School where I taught Intensive Reading, I then moved to Strawberry Crest High School where I taught Physical Education and coached girls' soccer.  Prior to making the transition to administration I also worked at Lennard High School as the Student Success Coach where I had an opportunity to work with students in building positive relationships and providing them with the necessary resources to be successful.
I am from Orlando, Florida and attended Winter Park High School. I moved to Tampa after receiving a scholarship to play soccer at the University of South Florida. I have lived here in Tampa since 2005 and have not looked back. I have a personal mission to be a positive impact within our society and for our youth. I believe that every student has a story and needs a person in their corner to empower them with confidence towards winning in their journey.  My values as an educator will always be to show up, inspire and be the difference for our students.
