    Instructors are A.S.E. Master Certified

    Automotive Program is N.A.T.E.F. Certified

Core Content

    • Analyze, repair and maintain automobiles and automotive products to manufacturer’s specifications
    • Prepare for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications

Industry Certification/Licensure

  • Students take the following 8 exams from the National Institute for ASE

    • Engine Repair
    • Brakes
    • Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
    • Electrical/Electronic Systems
    • Manual Transmission/Transaxle
    • Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
    • Suspension and Steering, Engine Performance

     

    Statewide Articulation (Community Colleges in Florida)

    Upon successful completion of this program, students enrolling in an AS in Automotive Service Management Technology degree program are eligible to be awarded 19 articulated credits.
