As a member of Rodgers’ FFA, students learn and practice real-life skills such as horticulture and animal husbandry (caring for plants and animals).  Communication skills, proper meeting conduct and behaviors, as well as parliamentary procedures are features of the program.  Through their participation, students become active team members and cultivate leadership skills.

Members are involved in District Career Development events, and demonstrate proficiencies at local and state fairs.  As such, they are required to follow specific directions and must exhibit essential organizational competencies.
