A Hillsborough County Public School
Aparicio-Levy Technical College offers many sources of financial aid. Most financial aid is awarded on the basis of financial need. We also accept most scholarships and education benefits from agencies.
We do not offer any type of student loans.
There are several types of federal grants that you may be eligible for. The most common federal grant is the PELL grant. Some students may be eligible for a full PELL grant, while others may qualify for a partial PELL grant. Grant money is free money to cover the costs of your education. Grants do not need to be paid back.
Programs that are less than 600 clock hours (EMT & Firefighter) do not qualify for FAFSA/PELL grant funding.
To be considered for federal financial aid, you must fill out the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA).

If you are a Florida high school graduate who was awarded a Florida State grant or scholarship such as Bright Futures, we will need a copy of your current eligibility letter.
Most of these state scholarships do not cover all program fees. Students are responsible to "self-pay" fees not covered.
There are many sponsoring agencies. The list below includes some of the common sponsors for students who meet their agency’s qualifications. Students are responsible to “self-pay” all charges that their sponsoring agency does not pay.
