  • About the CSIT Program

    The CSIT Program prepares students for entry-level positions in the Information Technology (IT) field.

    Students learn how to administer, support, and secure computer systems & networks through hands-on learning and case studies.

    Students will install, configure, and diagnose hardware and software products. They will connect network devices and administer Local Area Networks (LAN).

    Additionally, students will gain an understanding of cyber security practices.

    The program prepares students for the following industry certifications:

    CompTIA A+
    CompTIA Network+
    CompTIA Security +

    CompTIA logo

    These are recognized by the Department of Defense Directive 8570.1 in fulfilling IT Support and Information Assurance functions for the benefit of the DoD. For Information Assurance Technical Level I (IAT Level I) both the CompTIA A+ and Network+ exams meet the qualification requirement. For IAT Level II, the CompTIA Security+ credential meets the qualification requirement.

    Program Length

    900 hours or approximately 10 months

    Class Schedule

    Classes are held Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
