    • Class Schedule: Blended Learning Program
    • On-Site: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 2 pm.

Program Description

  • Web Development offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skill to prepare students to design, code, and publish websites that can work with mobile technology, tablets, and desktop formats.

    After successfully completing this program, students will be able to develop websites making use of learned, practiced and applicable coding principles along with site management.

    Additional skills covered:

    HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, and NodeJS

    Web Development prepares students for employment as entry-level Web Development professionals. The Web Development program prepares for the following Certifications: CIW Site Development Associate, Exam ID: 1D0-61B and CIW JavaScript Specialist, Exam 1 DO-735

Program Requirements

  • When registering for Web Development, students must provide the following information:

    • Florida DL/Florida ID
    • Social Security Card
    • High School Diploma/GED (copy) – (out of country diplomas, degrees, and transcripts must be translated and evaluated into English)
    • Florida Residency Form (pick up at Student Services) plus 2 forms of proof of residency for at least 1 year, ie. FL Vehicle Registration, FL Voter’s Registration, lease/mortgage agreement, etc.
    • All applicants must fill out an application (apply here)
    • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
    • CASAS Goals Reading & Math scores - The CASAS Goals test is offered at Brewster by appointment only - Cost is $10 cash + photo ID/SS card (EXEMPTIONS MAY APPLY)
    • CASAS Goals Score requirements: Reading 239 Math 236
    • Complete the financial aid form at FAFSA/www.studentaid.gov – Brewster Code 015158

    Students must have access to high speed internet, computer or laptop with a larger monitor/screen and an authentic email account.
