    Major Concepts/Content: Students will learn to create websites from planning to posting. Students will use Adobe's Photoshop to visually design a page’s appearance, then use code to create and publish the site.  The course will examine HTML & CSS code, best practices for web design, and navigation techniques. Students will use WordPress and other web development software in creating content and will prepare and attempt to obtain a relevant industry certification including ITS HTML & CSS.

    Major Concepts/Content: Students will learn graphic design skills and user interaction for marketing campaigns and web sites. Students will use Photoshop and Illustrator to visually design web sites and other graphic design projects. This project-intense class will develop initiative and creativity. Students will become proficient in Adobe software and master skills used for successful web and graphic design. Students will have fun enhancing web pages by adding audio, video and animation.  Students will prepare and attempt to obtain industry certification in a relevant topic/software.  

    WEB SCRIPTING FUNDAMENTALS (Honors)

    Major Concepts/Content: Web Scripting Fundamentals is a challenging course that will help students prepare for a career in web development. This course introduces scripting related to web development. The content primarily focuses on client-side scripting using JavaScript. Students will create interactive web pages that include form validation, event handlers and animations. Students will also obtain industry certification for JavaScript.
