How would you like to spend a school day looking at student-created art, watching student-made videos, participating in an author panel discussion, meeting a published author, AND eat out with other Williams students like you?
If so, then you just might be interested in joining the SLAM Showdown team and/or participating in the Williams SLAM Showcase!

If you love to read and compete, you should join the SLAM Showdown Team!
Read as many SLAM books as you can in order to prepare for the SLAM qualifying test!
On the day of the Showdown, you'll get lunch, snacks, and a pass out of class!
You will compete with other middle schools across the county...
And maybe help us place even higher than last year's team!

- Media Center hours for students: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (2:30 PM on early release Mondays)
- Students may visit the library with a pass provided by a teacher (during class) or administrator (during lunch)
- Book Checkout: 4 books for 2 weeks
- Visit the Library Media Center course in Canvas
- $10 fee for lost/damaged hard cover books
- $5 fee for lost/damaged paperback books
- In lieu of paying a fee, students may bring in a new book to replace each book they lost.
